‘No Rollback’: Govt Rejects Calls To Withdraw 0.4% UPI MDR On Transactions Above Rs 2,000

A day after announcing 0.4 per cent Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) on UPI merchant transactions above Rs 2,000, a top government functionary on Wednesday said there will be no rollback of the decision.

When a decision has been taken, the question of its rollback doesn’t arise, the official said.
