WPL 2027 To Be Played From January 14 To February 7, Player Auction On October 28 In Kochi

The five WPL franchises will have to submit the list of retained players by September 28.

The 2027 edition of the Women’s Premier League will be played from January 14 to February 7. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the dates for the fifth edition of the women’s premier T20 tournament. In the release shared by the Indian cricket board on Wednesday (September 16), they also stated that the player auction for WPL 2027 will take place at the Grand Hyatt Kochi on October 28, while the five franchises will have to submit their list of retained players by September 28.

“The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the key dates for the TATA Women’s Premier League 2027, with the fifth edition scheduled to be played from 14 January to 7 February 2027," BCCI stated in a release.
