IPL 2027 Mini Auction To Be Held In India, WPL Auction In Kochi

The BCCI has reportedly decided that the next IPL auction will be in India as opposed to the recent trend of them being held overseas.

The next auction for the Indian Premier League – a mini auction – will reportedly be held in India, with franchises expressing their reservations over the event being held overseas, citing logistical challenges. The decision was taken during an IPL Governing Council meeting held on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the upcoming WPL auction is likely to be held on October 29 in Kochi.
