India have sent a strong contingent to the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan with an aim to improve on their record 106-medal haul.

The 20th Asian Games will be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, bringing together athletes from 45 countries and regions across 43 sports. India arrives after a record 106-medal haul at Hangzhou (China) a tally that included 28 gold, 38 silver and 40 bronze medals. With a wide-ranging contingent featuring established champions and emerging talent, India will look to build on that performance and improve its medal tally across individual and team events.
