PM Modi Inaugurates Semicon India 2026, Hails Country's GDP Growth By 7.8%
PM Modi lauded the 7.8% Gross Domestic Growth (GDP) growth by the Indian economy, acknowledging how the rise was achieved despite geopolitical challenges
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated Semicon India 2026 in New Delhi, stressing how the country’s Semicon ecosystem is expanding rapidly and opening new doors of opportunity for innovation, investment and growth.
Organised jointly by the India Semiconductor Mission, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and SEMI, the event is centred on the theme “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem".
