'India Must Lead In Emerging Tech': PM Modi's Message To Global Semiconductor CEOs At Delhi Roundtable

The industry leaders also expressed their commitment to contributing to India's emergence as a globally competitive semiconductor and technology hub.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday chaired a high-level Semiconductor Roundtable with leading global CEOs, calling for greater industry participation as India moves into the next phase of its semiconductor journey and urging the country to aspire to be among the early leaders in emerging technologies.
The roundtable, held at Seva Teerth, brought together senior representatives from some of the world’s leading semiconductor and technology companies, including Micron, Infineon, Applied Materials, ASML, AMD, Intel, Tata Electronics, Lam Research, NXP, Foxconn, Tokyo Electron and Rapidus, among others.
