'Change mindset on Hindi': Supreme Court to Tamil Nadu over land for Navodaya schools

The Supreme Court on Thursday directed Tamil Nadu to identify land for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas within three months, stressing cooperation with the Centre. The bench also reserved order on Tamil Nadu’s plea against HC ruling on reservation for converts to Islam.

'If Navodaya schools were going to lower the standard of education in Tamil Nadu, we would have said that irrespective of what you have said. That is not the case here,' the bench remarked
