UP CM, state BJP chief, opposition leaders and Ram temple seers extend birthday wishes to PM Modi

Lucknow, Sep 17 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP state chief Pankaj Chaudhary and other senior ruling and opposition leaders, as well as Ayodhya seers, on Thursday extended 76th birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, praising his leadership and commitment to public service.

Adityanath, in a post on X, described Modi as his guide and wished him good health and a long, successful life.

“Heartiest birthday greetings to respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is dedicated to the uninterrupted national endeavour to bring a new dawn of happiness, prosperity, security and self-respect into the lives of 145 crore Indians, the world’s most popular political leader, visionary of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat’, architect of the ‘New India’ and our guide,” Adityanath said.

“Your life dedicated to the sacred resolve of ‘Nation First’, devotion to duty and public welfare is an inspiration for realising the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat’. Under your leadership, India is setting new milestones in self-reliance, good governance, cultural renaissance and global prestige,” he said.

Adityanath also prayed for Modi’s health and longevity.

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and BSP supremo Mayawati also wished Modi on his birthday.

Trust general secretary Swami Govind Dev Giri also released a video statement wishing Modi on his birthday, describing him as a “great son of Bharat Mata” and saying he would be remembered as an “epoch-maker”.

Govind Dev Giri said the construction of the Ram temple and the abrogation of Article 370, among other achievements, would remain memorable in history.
