Argentina’s national team will bid farewell to Lionel Messi in a friendly against Benin on October 6 in Buenos Aires. The match follows two other friendlies and marks the end of Messi’s international career after his retirement announcement in August.
The match against Benin -- an African nation ranked No. 93 in the FIFA men's world rankings -- is the last of three friendlies Argentina has scheduled, following home games against Bolivia September 30 and Burkina Faso Oct. 3.
