US intelligence officials have raised apprehensions about potential Chinese espionage risks as a USD 24 billion sale of dozens of advanced F-35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia remains pending, according to a report by the New York Times.
Intelligence analysts are concerned about the possibility that China could acquire F-35 jet technology through spying in Saudi Arabia and through its military and security alliance with Riyadh.
