391 Delhi Police personnel donate blood at Delhi govt event to mark Modi’s 76th birthday
New Delhi, Sep 17 (PTI) As many as 391 Delhi Police personnel, ranging from Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) to constable, donated blood at a blood donation programme organised by the Delhi government at Thyagaraj Stadium on Thursday to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the programme, organised from 8 am to 5 pm, in the presence of members of her Cabinet.
Officials said police personnel voluntarily participated in the blood donation drive. The chief minister invited several police personnel to the dais and presented them with blood donor certificates in recognition of their contribution.
