The Red Fort is set to glow with 76 diyas on Thursday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 76, with a special one and a half foot ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ serving as the centrepiece of the ceremony.

The special lighting programme, organised to mark PM Modi’s birthday, will see 76 large diyas lit at the historic monument. According to the organisers, the lamps will symbolise blessings, goodwill, best wishes and dedication to the service of the nation.
