Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the strikes were carried out by F-15 aircraft operating from Khamis Mushait.
The claims came after Riyadh accused the Houthis of launching a drone towards Mecca, calling it as a “cowardly terrorist attack”.
Saudi Arabia said it had intercepted the drone and vowed to defend the two holy mosques and its territory. The Houthis rejected the allegation as a “lie”.

Several crew members, including US personnel, reportedly suffered minor injuries, including smoke inhalation.
