Fuel bunk inspections in Karnataka find 85% nozzles underdelivering
Karnataka’s fuel nozzle inspections reveal 85% of dispensing guns underdeliver petrol/diesel, prompting Rs 6.6 lakh fines.
Of the 768 bunks that under-supplied fuel, 101 had errors beyond the 0.5% limit. This apart, three stations were also found to supply extra fuel beyond the 0.5 +/- margin.
