Pakistan, China activate boundary joint commission in Islamabad
Pakistan and China have activated a joint border commission, sparking India’s protest over the body’s legal basis. The move comes amid rising tensions over Shaksgam Valley and CPEC’s route through PoK, with both sides vowing enhanced security and trade ties.

India has been consistently maintaining that Pakistan's handing over of certain territories such as Shaksgam Valley to China in 1963 was illegal and unacceptable.
