'Serious Imputation On Credibility': Disha Salian's Father Slaps Rs 500-Crore Defamation Notice On Aaditya Thackeray

Satish Salian served a Rs 500 crore defamation notice on Aaditya Thackeray and Anil Deshmukh over alleged statements regarding his daughter Disha Salian's death case.

Satish Salian, father of Disha Salian, on Thursday issued a Rs 500-crore defamation notice to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray and NCP (SP) leader and former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh over statements allegedly made about his pursuit of justice in his daughter’s death case.

The notice claimed that Satish Salian’s efforts to seek a lawful investigation were portrayed by the two leaders as being “politically motivated". It alleged that such statements questioned his intentions and sought to undermine his credibility.
