Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray on Wednesday broke his silence after being named in the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) FIR in Disha Salian’s death case, stating that he had “never met or known" her and that linking his name with the case was a “deliberate, evidence-free attempt at character assassination."

In a post on X, Aaditya, who is Worli MLA and son of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, accused unnamed individuals of attempting to tarnish his reputation.
