JOTHI RAMALINGAM PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss has condemned the alleged exorbitant fares charged by private omni-bus operators ahead of the Vinayaka Chathurthi holidays.He said fares for the September 11 journey from Chennai have gone up to ₹3,999 to Tiruchi, ₹4,000 to Madurai and ₹6,154 to Coimbatore, while return fares on September 14 are as high as ₹4,499, ₹4,899, and ₹4,799 respectively.Fares to Kumbakonam have also touched ₹3,179, with the return fare at ₹3,419.
