BRICS Summit: Ministers, CMs Travel Together In Bus To Bharat Mandapam For PM Modi's Gala Dinner

In a display of camaraderie ahead of the BRICS Summit gala dinner, Union Ministers and Chief Ministers of various states travelled together in buses from Parliament to Bharat Mandapam on Saturday.

Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju, Nirmala Sitharaman, Sarbananda Sonowal and Arjun Ram Meghwal, along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other ministers and Chief Ministers, were among those travelling together for the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for global leaders and delegates attending the BRICS summit.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also boarded the same bus for Bharat Mandapam.

The unusual bus journey brought together several prominent Union ministers and state Chief Ministers as they headed to Bharat Mandapam, where Prime Minister Modi hosted the gala dinner for BRICS leaders and delegates.

PM Modi Hosts Gala Dinner For BRICS Leaders

Prime Minister Modi on Saturday evening hosted a gala dinner for BRICS leaders and delegates at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital, with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus among those attending the event.

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at Bharat Mandapam for the dinner, followed by Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus also arrived at the venue for the gala dinner hosted by PM Modi.

PM Modi is hosting the dinner for global leaders and delegates attending the 18th BRICS Summit, which is being held in New Delhi under India's chairship.
