Hyderabad Traffic Police book 397 drunk-driving cases in weekend crackdown

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad traffic police booked 397 drunken driving cases during the weekend drive carried out on September 11 and 12.

Of the 397 cases, 320 cases pertained to bikes, 28 to three-wheelers and 48 to cars. The motorists in the age group between 21 and 30 were caught in 143 cases and the highest BAC ranging between 51 and 100 mg/100 ml were registered in 168 cases, the police said.
