Tarun Chugh, senior BJP leader from Punjab, was recently appointed as the in-charge of the party’s central office in New Delhi. A Rajya Sabha MP, Chugh is also party in-charge of Gujarat.
In an interview with The Indian Express, he speaks on various issues related to the Punjab BJP ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, ranging from the party’s plank and camapign to the possibility of its alliance with erstwhile ally Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Excerpts:
