The Finance Minister has declared assets worth Rs 2.91 crore and liabilities of Rs 8.87 lakh from two loans taken jointly with her husband.
New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman invests only in mutual funds and has a home and mortgage loan, according to her asset declaration for 2025-26.
In total, she has assets worth Rs 2.91 crore and liabilities of Rs 8.87 lakh.
She owns a residential building in Hyderabad, valued at Rs 1.70 crore, jointly with her estranged husband. She also owns non-agricultural land in the city valued at Rs 17.08 lakh. She purchased the house in 2003 and the land in 1986.
