Your mother isn't waking up: Gujarat man kills wife, lies to son about her death
A school teacher in Gujarat's Valsad district allegedly killed his wife after an argument and later misled their son. Police said he then burned her blood-stained clothes as investigators traced an alleged bid to destroy evidence.
The accused, Suresh Waghmare, and his wife Anandi had a long-standing dispute over their drinking habits and household chores. Anandi would often leave the house after getting drunk, leading to frequent arguments between them.
A school teacher in Gujarat's Valsad district killed his wife by hitting her with a stick and then tried to destroy evidence by burning her blood-stained clothes. When their son came looking for her, the accused lied to him and said that his mother was “not waking up."
According to the police, the accused, Suresh Waghmare (50), and his wife Anandi (48) had a long-standing dispute over their drinking habits and household chores.
