Jammu: Former revenue official, four others booked over illegal land transfer
The case was registered following an inquiry that allegedly found prima facie violations in the handling and transfer of dry wetlands.
The anti-corruption bureau (ACB) on Tuesday registered a criminal case against a former assistant commissioner (revenue), Jammu, and four individuals over alleged irregularities in the transfer of dry wetlands, recorded as “Gair Mumkin Khad” in revenue records.
According to an ACB spokesperson, the FIR was registered at the ACB Central police station, Jammu, against Nisar Ahmad Shad, who served as assistant commissioner (revenue), Jammu, along with four private beneficiaries.
