NSE IPO: Anchor book gets ₹6,745 crore from 150-plus investors; LIC, Norges Bank, ADIA among key buyers
The National Stock Exchange of India allocated shares worth ₹6,745 crore to over 100 anchor investors ahead of its IPO. Major investors included LIC, Norges Bank, ADIA, and Fidelity.
The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) allocated 37,793,739 shares worth ₹6,746 crore at ₹1,785 apiece to more than 150 anchor investors ahead of its initial public offering (IPO) on September 17, the company said in its filing.
The anchor book saw strong demand from both domestic and foreign institutional investors, with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Government Pension Fund Global, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority–Monsoon and Fidelity Funds–India Focus Fund among the top investors.
According to the filing, LIC was the largest anchor investor, with 2,242,584 shares worth about ₹400.3 crore. Government Pension Fund Global was allocated 1,400,560 shares worth ₹250 crore, while the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority–Monsoon were each allocated 1,120,448 shares worth Rs200 crore.
