CBI arrests MCD secretariat assistant, 2 others in Rs 15 lakh bribery case
The CBI arrested three people, including an MCD senior secretariat assistant, during an alleged Rs 15 lakh bribe transaction in New Delhi. The case centres on alleged corruption involving a public servant and two others.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday arrested three people, including a senior secretariat assistant of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), while allegedly exchanging a bribe of Rs 15 lakh.
The arrests followed the registration of a corruption case against an MCD inspector and others over alleged illegal payments linked to the installation and display of advertisements.
