Couple Caught Taking Away Railway Bedsheets, Claims TTE Charged Extra That’s Why: ‘Chori Aur Seena Zori’

Missing linens, especially bedsheets and towels from AC coaches, have long been a concern for Indian Railways. The issue has not only resulted in losses for the railways but also raised questions about who bears the cost when these items go missing from their inventory.
The issue has once again come into the spotlight after a video showing a couple being confronted for carrying away bedrolls provided by the railways in their luggage. When questioned, the woman claimed that they had taken the linen because the TTE had charged them extra money.
