Meta may launch camera-free smart glasses as privacy concerns grow
Meta is reportedly preparing a new pair of smart glasses that removes the camera found on its existing models. According to the reports, the device is anticipated to be launched in October.
Meta could be preparing a new variety for its smart glasses lineup. The company reportedly working on a camera-free model designed around voice-based interaction with its AI services.
Internally known as Luna, the glasses could make their debut at Meta’s annual Connect developer conference next week, according to The Information report. Meta is reportedly aiming to begin shipping the device in October, although its plans could still change.
