Angh, the small film from Nagaland making India proud, is competing against 11 other films for the Platform Award at TIFF 2026.
Angh has become the first film from Nagaland to reach the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Directed by Theja Rio, Angh is competing in TIFF 2026’s Platform section, which is the festival’s only competitive category. It is the only Indian film in the section this year. All eyes are on Angh, as the winning film in this section becomes eligible for an Oscar nomination.
