Maharashtra govt orders SIT probe into alleged MH CET engineering admission scam
MUMBAI: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday announced the formation of a special investigation team (SIT) to probe the alleged MH CET engineering admission scam.
Fadnavis said the SIT would investigate all complaints related to the alleged scam and conduct a forensic audit.
The decision came after coaching centre owners and experts met Fadnavis and made a PowerPoint presentation on the alleged irregularities. They presented case studies based on data shared by the MH CET authorities.
