UP court sentences man to life imprisonment for wife’s murder
Bijnor (UP), Sep 17 (PTI) A court here on Thursday sentenced a man to life imprisonment for murdering his wife, while his parents were awarded two years’ imprisonment each in the case, police said.
Circle Officer, Dhampur, Anjani Kumar Chaturvedi said Mahendra Pal Singh had lodged a complaint alleging that his 26-year-old daughter Chitra was killed by her in-laws at Kagpur on August 13, 2024.
The woman had suffered a deep injury to the back of her head, police said.
