How smart home is becoming interface between AI agents and physical world
Google, Amazon, Samsung and Apple are connecting AI agents with smart home devices, making home platforms an increasingly important interface between AI and the physical world
Google has its own AI agent for the home. So does Amazon. Samsung is putting AI across its appliances, and Apple is connecting Apple Intelligence to the Home ecosystem.
That makes the question bigger than which company makes the best smart speaker or appliance. The competition is moving towards who becomes the control layer for an AI-powered home. That control layer determines which devices an agent can see, which information it can access and which actions it can take.
