BENGALURU: Primary & Secondary Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa announced on Friday that various educators and two institutions in particular would be awarded at Vidhana Soudha on Saturday, as part of the Teachers’ Day celebrations.
The Savitribhai Phule Award will be conferred upon 20 primary schoolteachers and 11 high schoolteachers, the HG Govinde Gowda Award will be conferred upon two schools in Belagavi, and at the PU level, two principals and eight lecturers will be awarded.
“My heartfelt congratulations to every teacher who has worked hard for the educational development of the country and is about to receive their award,” stated Bangarappa.
