A 21-year-old woman was kidnapped from her Bengaluru home by four men sent by her family after she married her lover against their wishes, triggering a dramatic car chase during which six people were injured after the accused rammed their vehicle into several vehicles.
The woman, Pooja, from Rajasthan, married Om Prakash, 23, who is also from Rajasthan, around eight to nine months ago. The couple had a love marriage against the wishes of their families and subsequently moved to Bengaluru.
