PSC chairman cannot claim special privilege: Keralam CM
Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 16 (PTI) Keralam Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Wednesday said the PSC chairman cannot claim any special privilege and warned of legal action by police if he refused to cooperate with the Crime Branch investigation into alleged irregularities in examinations conducted by the state recruitment body.
He was responding to questions about the reported stand of the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) chairman that he would not appear for questioning at the Crime Branch headquarters as part of the ongoing investigation.
“Nobody has any special privilege. Even very important people are summoned for questioning in this country. Everyone is a citizen here,” Satheesan said.
