Damaged old, new currency notes and documents found near Visakhapatnam park
Badly damaged currency notes and personal documents were found near Central Park in Visakhapatnam. Police are examining CCTV footage to find out who dumped them and why.
A pile of badly damaged currency notes found near the main entrance of Central Park in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday morning left morning walkers concerned, prompting them to alert the police.
The notes, in denominations of Rs 500, Rs 100, Rs 50, Rs 20 and Rs 10, were found scattered near a tree along the roadside close to the park. Pieces of some old currency notes were also reportedly found at the spot.
