Fake medicines: SIT searches for key suspect still at large
The Special Investigation Team is on a manhunt for R Prashanth, the alleged kingpin of a fake medicines racket in Bengaluru. Extradition efforts are underway as the SIT probes links to unlicensed repacking units and spurious drug supply chains worth Rs 5 crore.
R Prashanth had allegedly taken the farmhouse in Kurubara Karenahalli near Bidadi on lease and was the alleged kingpin of the racket.
