Armed groups acting as ‘proxies’ under scanner as Naga-Kuki conflict expands in Manipur
As the conflict involving the Naga and Kuki tribes in Manipur expands to new areas in the past few weeks, security forces are zeroing in on the alleged role of armed groups in ceasefire and the use of "proxy groups" in carrying out the attacks.
Sources in a central security agency told DH that the units posted in the conflict-hit and vulnerable pockets are keeping a close watch on the activities of the leaders and cadres of the armed groups in ceasefire
