Rupee loses 7 paise to settle at 95.95 against US dollar

The rupee ended 7 paise weaker at 95.95 against the US dollar on Wednesday as a strong dollar and rising crude prices offset gains from domestic equities. Analysts see the currency trading between 95.75 and 96.20 amid Fed rate hike bets.

Forex traders said the rupee's slide was capped by positive domestic equity markets.
