Hindustan Turbo Trainer-40: HAL to hand over 3 indigenous aircraft to IAF on Sept 18
HAL is all set to deliver first three Hindustan Turbo Trainer-40 aircraft to IAF after one year delay. Rs 6,828 crore deal to supply 70 trainers signed three years ago. HTT-40 features modern avionics, ejection seats and hot-refuelling capability.
The home grown trainer will supplement the IAF’s basic trainer fleet, which currently comprises 75 Pilatus PC-7 Mk-II planes
