Lokayukta officials trap Dharwad tahsildar while accepting Rs 50 lakh bribe
Lokayukta officials in Karnataka caught Dharwad tahsildar Sacchidanand red-handed while accepting a Rs 50 lakh bribe. The officer demanded Rs one crore and land to alter title deeds of 33 acres in Yerikoppa village.
Sources in Lokayukta said that tahsildar Sacchidanand had demanded Rs one crore in two installments of Rs 50 lakh and one acre land to change the title deeds of a 33 acre land in Yerikoppa village, 12 kms off Dharwad and adjacent to Pune Bengaluru highway.
