Supreme Court rejects CBI probe plea in 2013 UPPCL technician appointments

The Supreme Court dismissed a plea seeking a CBI probe into alleged irregularities in 2013 UPPCL technician appointments. The bench ruled that directions for CBI investigations require strong evidence and cannot be issued routinely.
