Woman Praises Pune Parents Who Put Headphones On Baby At Dhol-Tasha Event: ‘That’s How Great Parenting Looks’

The woman who posted the picture shared that she witnessed many parents with their kids at the loud dhol-tasha procession but saw only this couple taking precautionary measure
Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Maharashtra are synonymous with vibrant processions, colourful decorations and the powerful beats of dhol tasha. Large groups of performers often take to the streets during the festivities, with crowds gathering to watch the energetic performances. While such celebrations are an integral part of the festival, the extreme loud beats can also be a concern for some people.
A Pune-based X user Dhimahi Jain shared a picture from one such dhol-tasha procession, where a couple standing by the roadside and watching the performance caught attention. The man was seen holding their baby in his arms, while the child had headphones covering their ears.
