Thomas Massie, a Republican and outspoken critic of the war, accused Pete Hegseth of abusing his office by continuing hostilities against Iran without congressional approval. The resolution is unlikely to pass, but because Thomas Massie filed it as a privileged resolution, the House must take it up within two legislative days, potentially forcing Republicans to vote publicly on whether Pete Hegseth should remain in office.
