Manoj Jarange Calls Off 20-Day Hunger Strike, Warns Maharashtra Govt Of Mumbai Protest

The talks took place after Jarange, who had started his march from Antarwali Sarati village in Jalna district, halted at Patoda while heading towards Mumbai.
Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange on Thursday called off his 20-day-old hunger strike in Beed, but warned the Maharashtra Government that he would take the agitation to Mumbai if his demands were not addressed within three months.
The announcement followed a meeting with a government delegation at Patoda in Beed district. The delegation included ministers Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and Dada Bhuse, MLC Prasad Lad, MLA Suresh Dhas and senior officials.
