Upa Lokayukta registers suo moto cases against DHO, THO, doctors and PDO in Mandya

Upa Lokayukta B Veerappa files suo motu cases against Mandya DHO, THO, and doctors for misuse of Arakere PHC during a former MLA’s birthday celebration. The order follows media reports and Lokayukta police investigation.

It was reported that the PHC was used for the celebrations and the chamber of a woman doctor of the pediatrics department was given to women theatre artistes, to be used as a green room (for putting up make-up).
