Supreme Court directs HPEC to prioritise use of pellet guns, harassment of women in CJP protest probe
The Supreme Court has directed the High Power Enquiry Committee to prioritise pellet gun use and targeted harassment of women during the CJP protest probe. The court also sought Centre and police responses over Delhi Metro station closures during the protests.
The court directed that the identities of vulnerable witnesses be protected and that their statements and evidence be handled with the utmost confidentiality
