Power Minister Manohar Lal meets US Interior Secretary Burgum

Washington, Sept 17 (PTI) Power Minister Manohar Lal has met US Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and discussed India’s plans to meet the growing energy demands of its rapidly growing digital economy.

Lal met Burgum in Houston on Wednesday on the sidelines of the G20 Energy Abundance Ministerial.

“A productive and engaging conversation with @SecretaryBurgum, US Secretary of the Interior, on the sidelines of the @g20org Energy Abundance Ministerial Meeting in Houston yesterday,” Lal said in a post on X on Thursday. “We discussed areas of mutual interest, including resilient energy infrastructure and supply chains, power sector transformation, and India’s plans to meet the growing energy demands of its rapidly expanding digital economy,” he said.
