A fresh twist has emerged in the murder of 63-year-old Kanpur pharmaceutical businessman Vineet Minocha, with police examining whether his son, Subrat, may have known about the killing while he was away from home with his wife and child.
Minocha was found dead inside his flat on September 5, having suffered 26 stab wounds. Subrat, who had been out with his family “partying", returned home at around 3 am and found his father lying in a pool of blood inside the bedroom. The family then informed the authorities.
