A couple of months ago, Hollywood icon Demi Moore slipped back onto the cover of ‘V Magazine’, nearly two decades after her first appearance for the publication, looking every inch the kind of woman fashion has always loved to immortalise. Sculpted, impossibly slim and wrapped in the sort of surreal glamour that exists somewhere between fantasy and editorial reality.

At 63, she was luminous. Polished. Powerful. Very Hollywood, but also very ‘Demi–oore’. The beauty was admired. The image, in all its glossy, cinematic perfection, was allowed to be exactly what it was supposed to be, a fashion feast.
